Office gets a makeover.

Good Morning!

We have been debating for some time what to do with this little closet that really served no purpose but to hide messes in our kitchen area.

We were going to turn it into an office, but it wasn't sitting well with the hubs. He wanted a desk we could transport. We needed something to hide the computer stand and plugs because Tiny G kept shutting things off. So, here's how our new desk and craft closet happened!

I took this five dollar farm table and made it into a coffee table:

Then we got this fabulous secretary style desk from the Home Decorators Collection at Home Depot. (Seriously, Home Depot should contact me. I would totally advertise just for them. They know me by name there!)

And now our office looks like this:

 

It was pretty simple to put together and I did it by myself. I did have to cut the back of the cabinet out because our computer stand was too long, but, who can tell? Can you? Exactly.

I love it. Everything is organized and neat. It's perfect.

We also had part of the office in this closet. Beware. Don't look for too long....divert your eyes...it's really, really bad...

See, I told you! That's a liquor cabinet, that isn't holding alcohol. It has craft supplies in it! Oh, it just kills me to look at it! Wait until you see what I did with it!
