A Little Bit of Sanity and A Lot of Chaos: Ramblings #876

Ramblings #876

You know how some days you've just got nothin'. Well that's what I've got today. A whole lotta nothin'. But we're turning it into somethin' quick.

1. Remember these? They are fab. I fixed them up, put that fabulous fabric on them and they are ready to go... no buyer yet, maybe they will become my dining room chairs?!

Here's what they look like now!

They are divine!

2. We went to Indiana for the holiday weekend. We all took in our very first drag races. I had this crazy idea that it would be a bunch of weirdos watching cars...there were some weirdos, but there were also some pretty fun people that like to drive really, really fast. I'll have to show you pictures later. There are some cool ones. See #4 for the reason why I can't show pics yet...ugh.

3. We got some fabulous VIP hospitality passes thanks to Tom's brother-in-law and it made it AWESOME. Free food, fast cars, topless men....couldn't ask for anything better!

4. I can't find the charger for my camera battery. My battery died the other day. Umm....no pictures. No fun. Guess I have to get over to buy one.

5. I used an incentive to get Porter on the bus....okay, I bribed him. It totally worked. Thank you zhu-zhu pets for being just the right incentive for my kid.

6. I ate an entire Black Hound cake by myself. Have you been there? NYC. Go there. Go there now. Thanks to my fabulous sister for sending it!

7. I hope I can fit into my bridesmaid dress next month for her wedding. People - stop sending the sweet addict treats before a very important day!

8. So I started P90X yesterday.

9. I just have to show you these three pictures.

Each kid, same age. Ummm....brothers. Duh.

So I clicked on the Black Hound link. Boy that was torture and it was just in picture form. P90X sounds like something I could use, assuming its some sort of exercise. I saw a picture of myself from this weekend taken from behind. It was not a pretty site. Is this what blogging does to our butts? Makes them as wide as texas?

You were in Indiana and didn't come see me? I'm a weirdo, though, so maybe you saw enough of them at the races :)

I'm soooooo blaming you if I get pregnant again! My ovaries skipped a bit when I saw those beautiful children of yours. I have to remind myself that a 16 mo old and an 18 yr old (yeah, that's how we roll) is enough work for me.

If I had money those chairs would be mine.

I have pictures of my boys like that! I have to look at the background to figure out who is who sometimes.
