A Little Bit of Sanity and A Lot of Chaos: A 70's classic.

A 70's classic.

I wasn't sure about this. Still not sure. But, some people like them, so I thought I'd take a chance.

Take one really ugly not real wood credenza. Remove handles and paint them black.

Paint credenza with Kilz.

Then spray with Rustoleum Semi-gloss white.

Reattach only the front parts of the pulls. Not the back part.

Take sandpaper and rough up just a little.

Sit back and try and decide if you like it.

Decide you do.....

I like how it turned out. Do you have good luck with spray paint on furniture as compared to regular paint you brush/roll on? I have been painting some furniture and I know it would be easier to spray than roll it. Just want to make sure it will last a long time!

Hey Kristy! I am a new follower and at this moment my design flava is 70's furniture refinished (I am green with envy when I am at my grandparents house...) you should try glazing it. It honestly is awesome! Just a suggestion if you aren't 100% yet! Love your blog!

Kristy, Just like Bonnie, I'm curious about the spray paint you always talk about. Are you using it from a can or do you use a sprayer? If it's from a can. How do you keep from making a huge mess and breathing all the harmful fumes?
