PB Inspired Urn....

Urn...huh. Makes me think morbidly. BUT, this one from PB is so darn charming, in that, I'm not worth what they are selling me for kind of way...

So, I decided to make my own. I gathered my necessary items:

Ignore the ball and the candlestick....not finished with that one yet! The silver urn was from Goodwill. I got it awhile ago when I was doing the topiary. It didn't work for that project. The small round thing in the front is a picture...of something....I got two of them from Tom's grandma. She figured I could use them somehow. Here goes:

Empty out the urn that is filled with styrofoam and get it all over and have your hand look like this:

Then walk all over the house looking for the Dust Buster, only to leave a trail of styrofoam bits and have to vacuum absolutely everything, including the dogs and the kids...

Then spray paint everything with Heirloom White and Glaze it with Ralph Lauren and that is that:

Well? What do you think? I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I need to mix it up with some stuff on the mantel....

  24. Love the urn, but I really love the part of the story where you walked all over looking for the dust-buster, cause I'm just like that! I have no idea how many times I have bought dustpans and brushes, and I can't find one when I want it, or sissors....
