Seriously, could the BE any cuter?
I like the sides and the legs and the bottom shelf, but I'm not crazy about the top. There is some sort of pattern in the wood. And look at those bumpers! Yikes. It look a ton of Goo-gone and some old fashioned elbow grease to remove the residue. So, I finally got all the gunk off the top and sanded it down. I used the Behr paint and primer in one in Black Suede. I haven't decided if I am going to rough up the edges or not. So far the boys are doing a pretty good job with their Hot Wheels cars...
...and the zoo animals.

I am a total sucker for all things painted black, so of COURSE I love it! But I'm more impressed that you had the vision for what it could be. I'm more inclined to buy something that's ALREADY black than to paint something, so I'm very impressed!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! It took some doing to look past those bumpers and see the finished project. Great job! I love the shelf with the baskets.
ReplyDeleteI love it! It turned out really, really nice.
ReplyDeleteIt is so amazing what a little paint can do! It looks fabulous!
