Your hubs better appreciate how much you love his butt
3. You're quite a funny chick!
4. To paint our 16 ft ceiling, we balanced the ladder on the stairs, then while on the ladder, I used a combo of a broom handle and roller. In your case, you may want to try the brush taped to the extension pole. Good luck!Sara @ Russet Street Renohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18120089301670852587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7908304119735110392.post-58682702480660471302010-05-14T08:46:06.579-05:002010-05-14T08:46:06.579-05:00I love that you guys think I'm funny. Duct tape a narrow cutting brush to the end of the extension rod. Do it first without paint to see if it reaches. See if that works. Apparently it did on the show.

The color is truly warm and the white will be stunning!

I miss that ottoman too! *sigh*Koleinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00248290873145151407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7908304119735110392.post-31083714753676246302010-05-13T12:12:07.877-05:002010-05-13T12:12:07.877-05:00I started reading this post and was cracking up be...I started reading this post and was cracking up because you remind me a lot of ME- and I am HILARIOUS. I would love to paint them again, but I don't think I have the guts to take it on. Cant wait to see the oak painted. Dont worry, tell your husband that if you want the oak look again, just sand off the paint. :-)The House Creativehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12442666771003648512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7908304119735110392.post-83629156607644420612010-05-13T09:09:34.016-05:002010-05-13T09:09:34.016-05:00Hilarious post! I am the painter in the family too. Thank goodness our ceilings only go 10 foot at the most. I will look at those two story entry ways with great respect from now on. Paint/color change always amazes me how it can look so wonderful so fast. Great work!Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05933148155913991208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7908304119735110392.post-85540498855413338512010-05-13T06:30:11.554-05:002010-05-13T06:30:11.554-05:00I think your hubby might be my hubby's long lo...I think your hubby might be my hubby's long long younger brother!! He'll do the same, join in when I start painting but then pouts and gets silent. Oh well, I just hum a little tune in my head...the paintings getting done, the paintings getting done...But I still haven't gotten my foyer, stairwell really, done yet. You did yours w/o an extension ladder? That's the only way I can think of to get up there. I had to paint part of my ceiling at my old house because they had painted it green!
Walls look fabulous! I see white trim paint on it's way!Anita @ GoingALittleCoastalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02601157532080826275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7908304119735110392.post-88646968864635997852010-05-13T06:27:12.967-05:002010-05-13T06:27:12.967-05:00I must say that I glanced.
